For the thirteenth time, experts from all areas of Frankfurt’s financial sector met in the Frankfurt “Industrie- und Handelskammer” (IHK) for the two-day “Finanzplatztag der WM Gruppe”. This year concedro GmbH was again present as an evening sponsor and with an exciting specialist lecture on the topic “AI – The digital power of the future” by Dr. Cornelia Schlundt (Business Expert – concedro GmbH). We were very pleased about the high number of participants and the lively discussion.

“Celebrate good times, come on!” – Under this motto, concedro employees welcomed customers, partners and friends to a celebration of the 10th anniversary on February 20th, 2020! The event opened in the rooms of the Frankfurt press club where concedro invited internal and external speakers to informative lectures.

The interested listeners had a choice of four different topics:

• Digital distribution solutions – Why pension funds
  don’t use robos
• Business Agility – What Would MacGyver Do?
• GENO Broker – digitization approach, current status
  and further development
• AI – your digital power of the future

Afterwards there was enough time in the restaurant ‘Herr Franz’ for culinary delights at the Flying Buffet for further professional exchange and intensive discussions. Two other program items rounded off the successful evening: Poetryslamer Jakob Schwerdtfeger entertained with skilful rhymes and wordplay, then concedro employee Christoph Otten and his bandmates from the ‘Burning Icebears’ provided a good musical atmosphere.

In 2019, the 26th WM Kundenforum was dedicated to digitalization and captivated as a meeting place for further education in the areas of banking and capital market issues. Hamburg artist Sherin L’Artiste, engaged by the repeated exhibitor and sponsor concedro GmbH, enchanted the forum to a place of creativity and created portraits of the present participants within a merely a few minutes.

This combination provided optimal conditions for informal exchange centered around the world of securities trading and data feeds.

In the middle of September this year, the employees of concedro GmbH packed up their duffle bags and set sail for the third time. On board of the nostalgic Soeverein the route led the team across the IJsselmeer from Lelystad to Hoorn. In addition to copius culinary and architectural highlights ashore, the fabulous weather was inviting ideal for joint sailing and animate exchange on high sea.

Already for the third time, the »Schumacher Scheune« on the Düsseldorfer Rheinkirmes was visited with customers, friends and employees of concedro. For the first time a talk entitled »Agil – ist der Hype am Ende?« (Agile – does the hype come to an end?) with support by »Raum für Führung« was held in advance at our Düsseldorf office. The facilitators Michael Riermeier (Raum für Führung) and Alexandra Pirmann (concedro GmbH) led the event and ensured an intensive exchange in the plenum.
